Anti Aging – Plugging The Wastes
January 25th, 2012 by adminFor ages, humans have dreamt of how to stay young. A lot of historical and fictional
books dwell on quests, both real and fantastic, to find ways to sustain youth in all and
sundry. The critical and cult response and following that these books have found prove
that the idea is not just a passing thought, but something that lives forcefully in the minds
of a lot of people.
Fabled tales abound of valiant quests to find the Fountain of Youth in various regions of
the world. Almost every living culture and tradition has one legend or the other of people
who were not men but dwelt among them, imparting the knowledge of ages. The fact that
these stories are not true, but figments of men’s imaginations brings to the fore how much
man really desires to be able to attain all of these things.
The realest truth of it all, though, lies in the challenge that is faced by the growth of
technology. A lot of world renowned men have stated their regrets at not being able to tap
into the minds of greater men that have lived in the past. Men like Sir Isaac Newton,
Archimedes, Leonardo da Vinci, and even Albert Einstein of recent times who spent the
whole of their lives searching for and acquiring knowledge, the keenness of their minds
enabling them to traverse much ground that could never have been covered by lesser
men.
These men reached the fullness of age and passed on, much of their knowledge dying
with them, only a minute fraction of what they had learnt was written in books and stored
in records, while one or two students were able to benefit. Such a shame. Had we but
been able to preserve and keep them alive, we could learn so much from them, and man
would not always have to begin to learn from scratch at the end of every cycle.
In the light of these, the research never stops, the efforts never wane. And as increasing
numbers of people believe in the veracity of prolonged – or even endless – life, more
knowledge is being garnered everyday to find was to delay the inevitable.
